How Does our Process Work?
Initial Consultation
TIMELINE: Within A Few Days
The process starts with a free meeting to help us solidify your vision. We are happy to meet in person or via zoom.
How To Proceed
On a custom home design, we can either look through our existing book of plans and pick one to modify to create your custom home, or we can start a plan from scratch using pictures, different ideas & sketches. The process is collaborative-based & tailored to your individual tastes and needs, creating a unique custom home that’s timeless, buildable, and beautiful.
Agreement
From our consultation and by gathering some additional details we can now determine a recommended way forward, we go over the next steps with you. You put down a deposit and we move forward based on an agreement
Designing a Draft
TIMELINE: Initial plans within 2 weeks
We begin to sketch your project. Depending on your needs we can meet in person to go over the design and fine tune things until your vision comes alive.
Schematics
TIMELINE: Within 2 weeks
Once you are happy with the design we create full schematics which can be used for engineering, permits and contractors to establish a budget.
Permits, Construction, and Finalization
TIMELINE: Depends on your contractor and various other factors
With the working drawings you will be able to get permits from the city you are in, calculate a budget and begin.
Construction of the project with start and at any point in the process the plans can be modified and changed.

During a site visit, we review existing plans when available. If plans aren’t available, we carefully measure, sketch, photograph, and create accurate “as-built” drawings of your home. From there, we work closely with you to transform your ideas into a customized design that fits your vision and lifestyle.
